Thank you for your interesting in enroling your child at Emmaus Catholic School.
Application process
After touring our school, should you wish to apply for enrolment, please complete an Application for Enrolment and provide the following:
- Copy of birth certificate or official proof of date of birth
- Copy of Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of most recent school report (if transferring from another school)
- Documentation related to any special needs (specialist reports, action plans, assessments, etc.)
- Copy of Court Orders regarding custody of the child (if applicable)
- Visa or citizenship paperwork and passport (if born overseas)
- Payment of a non-refundable $30 application fee per student.
Due to the high demand for enrolment at Emmaus, we recommend submitting your Application for Enrolment well in advance. Applications must be received by the closing date. For applications received after the closing date, consideration will be given to the date of submission on the application form and will be at the discretion of the Principal. It is important for siblings of existing students to enrol at this time.
Enrolment Criteria:
The following criteria are used for student Enrolment, in priority order:
- Siblings of current students attending Emmaus Catholic School
- Catholic families of the Parish
- Catholic families of a different Parish
- Children of alumni from Emmaus Catholic School or Cardijn College
- Families residing in Woodcroft, Morphett Vale, Old Reynella, Reynella East, or Happy Valley
- Students from other religious denominations
- Students from other sectors, including but not limited, to those seeking a pathway to Cardijn College
Acceptance of Offer
Upon acceptance of the offer, acceptance of the position is confirmed by returning a signed Acceptance of Offer Form and payment of the Enrolment Acceptance Fee by the requested date.
The Enrolment Acceptance Fee of $150 is required for each student upon confirmation of their placement. This deposit is payable when the student is formally offered a place in the school by the requested date and will be deducted from the school fees once started.
